• which are outside any order limits or restrictions which we may apply to our wines on this site.

It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years. By entering and confirming payment details in our shopping area, you are certifying that you are 18 years of age or older.

We will replace or refund you for any bottle of wine that is damaged during transit to you. We ask that you return the unfinished portion of the original bottle for replacement. By law, we cannot accept returns of alcoholic beverages unless the product is corked, or damaged. We are also unable to accept return of wine that was ordered in error. Please send an email to orders@thistledownwines.com to arrange for the return of corked or damaged product.

Once the wine is received we will refund you for the cost of the wine less shipping and handling. If the original shipment was damaged or flawed you will receive a full refund, including shipping and handling charges. 

Wine cannot be delivered outside of Australia. Any delivery timeframes specified by us are indicative only. Allow 14 days from receipt of your order confirmation for delivery. Delivery instructions can be specified during the checkout process. The person we deliver to has to be aged 18 years or over (and may be asked to provide proof of age).

Thistledown Wines does not accept responsibility for items stolen when an authority to leave has been specified by the customer. Please note: during sale/ promotional events, delivery may be longer than the specified delivery times above . 

Orders of up to 12 bottles will incur at $15 delivery charge. Orders of 12 bottles or more will be delivered free. 

While every effort is made to ensure that all vintages listed on our website are current, if the stocked vintage changes before your order is dispatched, we will contact you to inform you of the change and confirm the alternative is acceptable. If we are unable to supply you with wine of the vintage that you ordered, we reserve the right to substitute it for the same wine of a different vintage.

All prices quoted are inclusive of GST.

We always endeavour to provide a secure, safe platform from which to conduct online transactions. We use industry standard SSL protocol which encrypts information as it is transmitted over the internet. This encryption makes information such as credit card numbers, billing details and delivery addresses undecipherable by other computers, ensuring privacy and security. Any stored cardholder information is not stored by Thistledown Wines, but a secure third party, and is required to be encrypted with a suitable cryptographic algorithm. Thistledown Wines staff do not have access to stored credit card information. It is important for you to protect against unauthorised access to your online account by keeping your password, computer and devices secure.
